Cancer Research Forum a big success
The Cancer Center’s Cancer Research Forum was attended by over 200 people and students and associates presented 120 posters. This was our inaugural forum and it showcased for the first time all of the cancer research projects on the Chicago, Urbana and Rockford campuses. The Forum was a testament to the variety and quantity of cancer research and the enthusiasm for the University of Illinois Cancer Center that exists on all of the campuses.
Winners Announced
After two poster sessions, the judges made their decisions and awarded $500 each to six individuals for their exceptional posters. They were presented certificates by Jack Kaplan, Chair of the event:
