5. Graduation from medical school within the last 7 years.

We do not disclose our minimum score criteria.
Only J-1 Visas are sponsored by our program.

Thank you for your interest in the Orthopaedic Residency Program at the

University of Illinois at Chicago. The orthopaedic residency program
participates in ERAS for the submittal of a residency application.
Applications submitted directly to the program will not be accepted. All
applications to the program must be submitted by October 30.
 
All applications will be uploaded by Program after the above deadline passes.
 
At the present time only J-1 Visas are sponsored by the program. The
program offers seven categorical first year positions.
 
The Program does not offer any positions before the match. We do not
disclose our USMLE score requirements.
 
All applications to the program are evaluated and reviewed by the
Chairman, Program Director and Faculty. When selecting candidates to
interview for the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program, the following
sections are evaluated:
 
    * Medical Transcripts
    * Letters of recommendation
    * Personal Statement
    * Research and Publications
    * USMLE Scores
 
Applicants are extensively screened and interviewed by faculty and
residents.
