Application Process

Thank you for your interest in the University of Illinois at Chicago Pediatric Residency Program. All applicants must be registered with the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) and apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). We offer 12 PGY1 positions. Our NRMP number is #1150320CO.

Upon review of all completed application documents, selected applicants will be contacted for interviews to be scheduled during the months of November, December, and January. Applicants are responsible for making sure that their files are complete.

At the current time we have no set criteria or minimum requirements for our applicants. We consider each candidate on an individual basis and make a decision to interview after reviewing each file. We would prefer that candidates have already obtained ECFMG certification at the time of their application. If you have certain visa requirements, please keep in mind that we only sponsor J1 visas.
